Homare is a young woman who stands taller than Himari in terms of height, with blue hair with a light bang in the front, with tied in the back into four spikes and a white eyepatch covering her right eye.
Similar to others in the Anti-Demon Corps, she is dressed in the usual uniform, but she has the jacket opened revealing a black leather bra strapped in the front.
Similar to most in the Azuma Family, Homare has a feeling of being superior to others less talented than themselves, the most notable being Himari, who she used to beat and abuse, showing herself to have sadistic tendencies. This, however, doesn't appear to be limited to Himari alone as she threatened to "lop off" her sister's head after she questioned who'd beat Himari after changing her initial outfit.
Most notable, Homare has shown to be have a quick temper, after Maia sealed her movements, then again after Himari brushed her arm aside and placed her fist in front of her face.
Despite her brash nature and penchant for wearing revealing clothing, she actually gets quite embarrassed in front of others while nude.
She is also a sore loser, as seen when she attempted to sneak into Yuuki’s room to seduce and steal him from Himari after they beat her as payback.
Like most women who devour one of the peaches from Mato, Homare attained a unique power. As a member of the Azuma Branch Family, more so one of their most talented, she is a rather skilled and strong Demon Hunter in the corps. Since losing against Himari in the competition to decide the next family head, Homare has been training herself much harder than before in mastering her Peach Blessing, with Tobera stating that if she kept getting faster than she would have the chance to be the "Fastest in the World".
